After the lynching, evidence was found proving the three young men
innocence. It seemed the story of Tusken's alleged rape was just fabricated.

What became even more disturbing was that photographs like above were made
into postcards.
On October 26, 1991 the unmarked graves of Clayton,
Jackson, and McGhie at Park Hill Cemetary was finally identified
and honored. On each headstone reads "Deterred but
not defeated."
