Photoshop Teams

We'll divide up into teams of three to teach each other techniques in Photoshop pages from our Photoshop 7 book with sample images and face-to-face help.

Please do the following:

Before the day assigned for team work:

  1. look through the Photoshop book for a technique you would like to learn, or that you have used in your work so far.
  2. Find a sample image (or set of images) that would serve to practice on.
  3. Work through the technique, following the book's direction. Underline key actions or tips in the book. Make notes in the margins of things to remember or do differently.
  4. Post the finished product and the raw image(s) to your "www/3220/exercises" folder and send the URLs to your team's Webx folder. Be sure to label which is which. Make the first line of your message the name of your technique so it will be identified in the message lists. Also include the page number(s) in the book.

On the day of class:

  1. In class, we'll divide up into our teams by grouping ourselves in the room.
  2. Each team member will take a turn slowly teaching his or her technique to the others. As you learn someone else's technique, following in your own book and underline key moves and tips. Make marginal notes.
  3. Save the raw images and final results in your class folder "visual rhetoric"
