Our DVD and VHS collections contain a wide variety of academic, documentary, classic, and feature films. Ask about our DVD and VHS collection at the first floor circulation deskFind streaming videos in the Library Catalog.

Academic Video Online (AVON)
Curated for the educational experience, this collection delivers almost 70,000 titles in a breadth of content-types (such as documentaries, films, newsreels, theatrical performances, demonstrations, etc.) spanning a wide range of subject areas including anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more.

Expiration Note: This resource has been made temporarily available due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Access will end on 07/31/2021.

Public Performance Rights: Films available in Academic Video Online include limited public performance rights, which includes permission for classroom showings, as well as public screenings, as long as no admission is being charged.

LinkedIn Learning
Formerly Lynda.com Online Training. This is an online library of educational how-to and training videos that cover a variety of software, creative, and business applications.

Videos on the Web (Google Video)
Other video platforms include YouTube, BitChute, Bit.tube, Dailymotion, TedTalks, Vimeo, and more.

WorldCat - Search millions of video titles (obtain via interlibrary loan)
WorldCat can be used to locate video titles in both VHS and DVD formats. THIS IS OUR BEST SOURCE FOR FINDING AND ORDERING MATERIALS THROUGH OUR FREE INTERLIBRARY LOAN SERVICE. Interlibrary Loans often require 1-3 weeks to fulfill.
