History

• 78 yr old male with Parkinson's Disease

Radiographic Findings

• Imparied lingual motitlity
  • Delayed and prolonged oral bolus transport
    • Delayed initiation of pharyngeal swallow
  • Poor tongue base retraction leading
    • Valleculae residue
• Limited hyolaryngeal excursion
  • Restricted PE segment opening
    • Pyriform residue and post swallow trace aspiration
• Impaired pharyngeal contraction
  • Pharyngeal residue

Treatment

• NPO
  • Prevent aspiration
