Our group decided to each post one question. I have number 3, but one person had a different set of questions and his number 4 is the same as most peoples number 3.

Why are most of the monks so willing to attribute the events occurring in the monistery to the influence of the devil and/or witchcraft?

We thought that the monks were affraid to argue with the high priests. They are affraid of who they might be accusing if they did find out who was really doing the murders. They were scared of the truth.
