The Indians were robbed of their land with empty promises and treaties that were never upheld...that is why they believe they can do what they want because they aren't a part of our culture. Their ancestors were cheated so naturally they feel they should be compensated, right?

Then there is the fact that the government gives them financial assistance. If they do not want to be a part of this government and become a soveriegn nation then the financial assistance should end. Especially now that they have more than enough cash coming in from the casinos...i have given them a hefty sum of bills myself.

Their ancestors were cheated...not the native americans living now and they sure as hell weren't cheated by me. I pay for the assistance with my paycheck with the taxes that come out of it. My ancestors did not cheat them so why should I have to pay? My relatives moved to the U.S. long after the indians were cheated out of their land...I am not responsible for this..should I get some compensation??
