Holly, You asked how could God create a faulty, imperfect human and then damn him. I don't think God did create a faulty human. Each person is perfect in his or her own way, but at some point they turn themselves from good into evil. I believe with my whole heart that EVERY person has good in them, there is no person who is completely evil. That good piece, whether large or small, is what determines whether they go to heaven or hell. I think it depends on the person and their choices they make. Some people must choose between bad and worse, not all situations are clear cut good and bad, and I think that God knows this and takes it all into consideration. Personally, I believe in a heaven and that there is at least one God of some kind, but who is to say that there is only one God?
Anyhow, I am afraid I didn't really totally answer your question with the facts that I am sure you would like. I can only give you what I believe and maybe between some of us a "truth" will come about.

-Hillary
