Playing Level and Playing Mode

• Your name

• The level you want the server to play:

  • 1. Mindless: removes one coin from first nonempty pile

  • 2. Beginner: attempts to leave opponent with exactly two nonempty piles of equal size

  • 3. Advanced: if beginner strategy is not applicable, attempts to leave opponent with three nonempty piles of differing size that will eventually result in a loss for the opponent

  • 4. Expert: guaranteed to win if server plays first under certain conditions

• The playing mode:
  • 1. Human: Server plays against human

  • 2. Automated: Server plays against client's client-strategy procedure
