Adding Strategies
In this step you will make the computer play with some intelligence. In
preparation, be sure to read the text book's discussion in section 6.5 on
pages 156-161.
This step will be in two parts:
- First, modify the program so that it uses some data types that implement
strategies. However, after doing this the program will not behave any
differently than before. It will simply be reorganized and better
designed for using alternative strategies, although the only
strategy used at this point is still the initial, simple-minded one.
- Second, develop an alternative strategy that guarantees a win
if possible, and "plug" it into the program.
