Another Description

• Suppose we call the dictionary-searching process Dictionary Search for Word W.

• Then we could re-describe it this way:
  1. Open the dictionary to some page.

  2. If W is on that page, stop.

  3. Otherwise, determine which part of the dictionary, left or right of the current page, W is in.

  4. If W is in the left part, do a Dictionary Search for W on the left part.

  5. Otherwise, do a Dictionary Search for W on the right part.
