Checking in Files

• Now you can control revision access to the file by checking in the file with the

• RCS. To do this issue this command:

• csdev01% ci flush.cc

• RCS/flush.cc,v <-- flush.cc

• enter description, terminated with single '.' or end of file:

• NOTE: This is NOT the log message!

• Here you enter some simple description of the file. The description can be over

• several lines, using the return key between lines. The description process is

• terminated with a lone '.' (period) or '^d' (control-d on the Sun's).
