Dynamic Page Navigation

• Page flow depends on button clicks and input provided by user

• Example: submitting login page may have two outcomes, success or failure, depending on information given

• Button must have a method reference, as in:

       <h:commandButton label="Login" action="#{loginController.verifyUser}"/>

• Method must return a string used by navigation handler to look up a navigation rule:

       String verifyUser() {
           if (...)
               return "success";
           else
               return "failure";
       }
  

• If an action method returns null, the same page is displayed
