Well, hello. My name is LUTSEN. I was picked up at the Duluth Animal Shelter
by this man and woman around 4/21/98. I was just barely done being a kitty.
As the weeks passed, I got a a bit rounder. A visitor asked "Is this cat pregnant?".
A few days later, on a trip to the vet to get SPAYED, I was turned away 'cause
I was already PREGNANT. Looks like I got mated by a friendly male cat just a week
before I got to the shelter! (much to the surprise of my new owners!). My owners
nicknamed me "Troublebutt" as I was aggressive towards their food. But hey,
I was pregnant! Once, visiting dogs chased me, and i scrambled up a wooden post,
and clung vertical in mid-air, with all four clawed-paws. hisssssss dogs.
Lutsen has kittens My owners went to work 6/16/98, but i decided to start
giving birth to kittens while they were gone. (who says wait for them?). Five
kittens were born, all healthy. Four are a sorta brown-tiger-stripe (like me)
and one is black. (one of the tiger-stripes is almost half-black from back down
to mid-sides.). And so, I am a mom. Lots of licking and resting and letting kittens
crawl all over me, searching for a nipple to suckle. No doubt ... there will
be little kitten pictures posted here soon....
well, they're right HERE (kittens)
one owner thinks we should nickname the kittens with other northshore names
like Schroeder, Temperance, Sawbill, Cascade and ...
maybe Judge-Magney? Oberg Mountain? Cross River?
And yes, the word is I will get SPAYED soon after the kittens.

I guess I am
known as TOFTE. Can I go outside and catch salamanders now? I live
with my two owners in Jacksonville, Florida. It's pretty warm here.
(Though I have this really fuzzy memory of catching a one-way Delta flight
from a cold-place called Minnesota once. So darn cold i lost the tips of
my ears.) I am a generally amiable cat, and can do very little wrong in
the eyes of my owners, so I am set.
Spring 1998 note: Tofte has "passed away" much to the sadness
of his owners. He will be missed.
MAX (Bramble: no photo available currentlyWell, I'm MAX and my roomate is BRAMBLE. We live in the Boston, Massachusetts area. I'm actually a girl-cat. My real name is Maxine. But everyone calls me MAX. I am a bit rotund. And I am friendly, usually. Unless I am feeling aloof. And eating is my past-time. BRAMBLE, well, we don't talk about it much... but he's a little nuts. He likes to be outside alot. I think he's claustrophobic. I think he has "issues" with dogs, too. Our two owners insist on having this dog, NORTH, also. So thats an "issue". But life is basically good.
MORIAH (gray) and CHADWICK (dark)
We are known as MORIAH and CHADWICK. We live in the plains town of Lincoln, Nebraska with our two owners. Things are good. We get to go and rampage around in the flowers and stuff in the backyard. And our owners are pretty decent folk. I should point out that we don't always come when called. Why should we?
