These costs are estimates based on the 2016-2017 academic year. Actual costs may differ depending on your coursework, living arrangements, and personal spending choices.

At UMD, every credit you take after 13 credits is free of charge. Banded tuition helps keep your educational costs down and encourages students to graduate in four years. Students who take fewer than 13 credits will be charged on a per-credit basis.

UMD is a member of the Midwest Student Exchange Program. Residents of these states qualify for tuition that is slightly higher than in-state tuition:

  • Kansas
  • Michigan
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska

UMD has reciprocity agreements with:
