Event Information

The Head of the Lakes Fall Job & Internship Fair is a general (all majors) job fair held annually at UMD. Employers will be seeking candidates for internships and full-time positions, as well as promoting their companies.

Several companies will be interviewing on-campus the day of the fair and Oct 7th. Companies will select students at the fair to interview.

Students register at the door.

This event is free and open to current students and recent alumni from the University of Minnesota, College of St Scholastica, and University of Wisconsin Superior.

Parking for CSS/UWS students/alumni: Pay Lot G or parking meters. See Campus Parking Map.

Employer Registration

Registration opens June 1st.

Employers register through GoldPASS. Registration closes September 29 or when full.

The non-refundable registration fee includes continental breakfast and lunch for up to two recruiters, a 6'-8' table, two chairs, and wireless internet access. Free electricity is available on a limited basis, must be requested at registration and will be assigned first-come, first-served.

  • Private Industry rate: $250 ($300 after September 15)
  • Non-profit and Government rate: $150 ($200 after September 15)
  • Additional lunches: $15 each
  • Interview space: $50 (limited availability, see GoldPASS for more information)

If you only require a high school diploma or are promoting part-time employment, this fair may not be a good fit for your organization.
