November 22, 2011

Present: Georgia Keeney, Fay Maas, Lynette Carlson, Randy Hyman, and Bruce Munson (ex officio)

1. The course Educ 3500: Choices and Consequences: The Impact of Values and Ethics on Sustainability was unanimously approved with minor revisions and clarifications.   These included:

#11: Fix components – select one and check final exam box

#16: Add prerequisites for enrollment. Suggestion was to identify a number of credits, like 60.

#25: Suggested that conceptual outcome be expanded and explained, use an outline to show how content of course will be covered. Committee wasn’t sure that content from learning outcomes was fully reflected by conceptual outline so relate outcomes from #26 to content here.

#26: Fix minor typo in Assessment method A.

2. Committee decided that meeting time in spring semester will be the same – 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 11 AM. The first scheduled spring meeting will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
