Graduate Programs Council

10:00 a.m., November 16, 2001

Present: Ken Gilbertson, Sue Damme, Melanie Shephard, Frank Guldbrandsen, Jackie Millslagle.

Absent: Mark Mizuko, Aydin Durgunoglu

A motion was made and seconded to approve the curriculum process as circulated following the joint meeting with Academic Affairs Council.

Motion CARRIED.

In the spirit of communication, GPC will reciprocate and put our minutes as an information item on Academic Affairs Council agendas.

A proposed mission statement for the M.Ed. was distributed by Ken Gilbertson, as was a proposed admission criteria from a subcommittee (Guldbrandsen, Shephard, Millslagle). No action was taken. A general discussion ensued on organization, and Jackie agreed to frame the discussion in a document to GPC by Monday, November 26.
