Meeting called to order by Lynn.
Beth Ruark reviewed the summary of course proposals for the 2006 Educator's Institute. These are designed as professional development for classroom teachers. Jackie indicated that use in M.Ed. programs is limited to 3 credits maximum; committee chairs asked to discourage the use of these credits. Beth will use feedback and revise the proposal request to require educational objectives and a bibliography. Motion and second to approve all special topics for Educator's Institute. APPROVED. Faith explained the background to the CSD request for a special topics titled, Central Auditory Processing, 1 credit. Motion and second to approve. APPROVED.
Item for future agenda: Required abstract for all final projects in collegiate graduate programs.
Meetings will be scheduled bi-weekly in spring semester.
