Consequences for Academic Dishonesty

In addition to the sanction imposed by the faculty member, the academic integrity officer may impose a sanction. For a first offense, you will only receive a letter of acknowledgment—unless it is a very severe offense. For a second offense, sanctions may range from a warning to a permanent expulsion, but in most cases, a suspension will occur. For a third offense, a permanent expulsion will occur in most cases.
