YOUR APARTMENT....

GENERAL APARTMENT DESIGN AND FURNISHINGS

Designs vary but all apartments include a kitchen, living room, dining area, two bedrooms, and bathroom. Units in all apartment complexes are furnished with stove, refrigerator, dining table and chairs, couch and chair, end table, desks and chairs, desk lamps, closet and dresser space, beds and mattresses, draperies, shower curtains, and telephone. Apartments are not air conditioned.

Heaney Hall

HEANEY HALL
(10 week requests only)

This apartment complex is limited to ten week renters. This apartment building has an elevator.

 

OAKLAND, AND GOLDFINE APARTMENTS
(5, 8 and 10 week requests)


These apartment complexes are available to senior residents staying five, eight or ten weeks.

WHAT TO BRING

Televisions, microwaves, fans, cooking and eating utensils, radios, clocks, clothes hangers, irons, ironing boards, etc. must be provided by residents. Window air conditioning units are not permitted. Portable indoor air conditioning units are permitted.

TELEPHONE SERVICE

Each University apartment is furnished with a telephone with voice mail. Service for local calling is provided through the summer lease and is included in the housing rate. Upon request, telephone receivers with adjustable sound controls are available.

Long distance calls can only be made by using long distance calling cards provided by various long distance companies, by calling collect, or by billing to a third number.

TELEVISION

You may bring your own or televisions are available on a rental basis. Summer residents are provided with free basic cable channels (approximately 75 channels).

Additional channels are available on a cost basis through Charter Communications at (800) 581-0081.

LINEN

Included in the housing rate, each bed is provided with pillow, pillow case, sheets, one blanket, bed spread and mattress pad are placed in the apartment at the time of move in. Residents are responsible for cleaning their linen.

Residents must provide towels and wash cloths. We also encourage residents to bring extra blankets.
