The IBS Graduate Program is a University-wide, multi-disciplinary program designed to prepare students for a variety of careers in the biological sciences. Excellent research and classroom opportunities are available on both the Duluth and Twin Cities campuses.
Students can choose advisors from numerous University departments, as well as associated faculty at the Natural Resources Research Institute and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Duluth.
Financial support is available through both research and teaching assistantships. Graduate students holding an assistantship receive health benefits and tuition waivers.
Registration is now open, and as we transition into the spring semester please review the requirements to complete the program. You can also review these requirements and other necessary information in the IBS Student Handbook.
