Configuring Your Computer to Print to the Lab Printers

You can configure your computer to print to the UnipriNT (Pharos) print stations in the ITSS computer labs by just clicking on a few links below.

At this time, the iPrint Client is not supported for Windows Vista Home Editions. Current UMD students may purchace an upgraded version of Vista from the UMD Bookstore at a reduced rate, as part of the Microsoft Campus agreement.

1. Download the iPrint Client on to your computer.

2. Click the "Install iPrint Client (#1. as shown below)" This only needs to be done once (this link will also install the iPrint Uninstall Utility in case you want to remove this utility).

3. After you have installed the iPrint Client close the browser (this has to be done before adding the printer queues). You can then re-open a browser, return to this page add print queues for the ITSS lab black & white and color printers by clicking on #2 and #3 as shown below.


When you print to these queues your print job will show up on the black & white or color printer stations in the ITSS computer labs. You can use your Ucard (or print card) to release them. Unreleased print jobs will be deleted after 1 hour.
