SPSS Site License - 2009
UMD Site License for Students
All UMD students are eligible for SPSS under the extended UMD Student Site License. The UMD Student Site License includes SPSS 17 for Windows Vista, XP, 2000, or Mac OSX, with the following modules:
- SPSS Base
- Advanced Models
- Regression Models and Tables
NOTE: SPSS 17.0 will not run on Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). See: Mac OS X v10.6: About incompatible software for details.
Mac OSX 10.6 requires PASW (formerly SPSS) 18. This version will not be available as part of the University site license until later this fall.

What is the cost?
- Students in CEHSP, CLA, or LSBE
- No charge (the collegiate unit has paid the license for each student).
- Students in CSE, SFA, MED, PHARM, or CE
- $40 per license.
How do I get SPSS?
- Students in CEHSP, CLA, or LSBE (graduate and undergraduate)
- Download SPSS from ITSS web site. For details, see:

- Purchase it at the ITSS TechCenter, KPlz 165.
