All Student interested in membership in the Black Student Association are
welcome to join. The association occupies a cultural resource center
located in Kirby Student Center 270. This room houses computer
facilities, cultural artifacts, and literature. The room is used as a
meeting place and a study hall during finals. Mission:
Unite students of African, African American, and Caribbean descent.
Serve as a link to the greater Black community in Duluth and
surrounding areas.
Increase awareness and appreciation for Black history through
educational, cultural, and social programming.
Work as a unified force toward enhancing the conditions and enviroment
for Black students on campus.
Serve as a support network for each other.
