Parking at UMD is limited for both on-campus residents and for those who commute.

The Duluth Transit Authority buses serve the UMD campus and the surrounding areas.

Students, faculty and staff who present their U-card can ride the DTA buses 7 days a week, anywhere and anytime the buses run. Bus schedules and other information can be viewed at the DTA website.

If you do not absolutely need a car, we encourage you NOT to bring one to campus.

So why bother with parking hassles, tickets, scraping of ice and snow?
