Agency Description:	The mission of this agency is to protect, promote, and improve the health and quality of life in St. Louis County. In Intensive Family Based Services (IFBS), all residents of St. Louis County are eligible for services, though most families are referred by child protection social workers. Intensive Family Based Services (IFBS) is a family counseling and parent education program designed to strengthen and preserve the family unit. IFBS is provided by professionally trained people who support and help families develop new ways to deal with family problems. This includes meeting weekly with the entire family or with individual family members for a period of up to six months.
