The Cass Lake Family Center is a nonprofit agency under the umbrella
of the Cass County/Leech Lake Reservation Children's Initiative. The mission
of this organization is to "serve families in Cass Lake and surrounding
communities to promote and nurture family wellness through collaborative,
coordinated, centralized and accessible services and activities".
Services provided in called sponsoring a Food Shelf, Clothing Depot and
Furniture Exchange. Additionally, programs to serve at-risk youth include
a Universal Home Visitor and Parent Mentor program.

| Description of Field Activities |
1) Work with the Youth/Family Worker to identify specific systems changes
needed to increase the chances of success for clients returning from out-of-home
placement. 2) Identify alternative programming, especially in the schools,
to increase success for youth-at-risk and 3) Grant writing
|
