This agency manages and provides grants to agencies and community groups
that serve low-income persons, work with neighborhoods where a majority
of families are low-income, and fund shelters, transitional housing programs
and other services for the homeless. |
| Description of Field Activities |
Students will have the opportunity to do research, community development,
grants administration, policy development, and will have personal interactions
with citizens, service agency staff, City staff, committee and Commission
members, and advocacy groups. |
