| Description of Field Activities |
Field I-Direct work with patients, residents, and clients of acute
care, long-tern care and hospice care. Interviews, case planning. Assessments,
discharge planning, group work family conferences, crisis intervention.
Learning about regulatory agencies involvement with the organization.
Field II-Above activities if student has not had prior placement
in a medical setting. Selection of projects that can teach mezzo and macro
level social work skills. Administrative and clinical work; program evaluation. |
