Tutoring Center: Private Tutoring

UMD Students and Other Adults Aged 18 and Older During the regular school year, SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY:

Requests for private tutoring from tutors in the UMD Tutoring Center can be made in person or by phone (218-726-6248).

  • Stop in or call to request help from a private tutor
  • A request form will be filed for you
  • You will be contacted directly by a tutor to make specific tutoring arrangements regarding fee, time, and place
  • If you have not heard back within one week, please contact the Tutoring Center again and tutors in your subject area will be notified

UMD Students and Other Adults Aged 18 and Older During the summer months, MAY THROUGH AUGUST:

Please call the UMD Tutoring Center (218-726-6248) and leave a message describing your tutoring requirements.

Students Younger Than 18 Years Old:

For tutoring help for minor children, please post a tutoring position at the UMD Human Resources Student Employment Website: http://www.d.umn.edu/umdhr/studentjobs/


A minimum fee of $20 per hour is suggested for each individual private tutoring session.
