1. If I am hired on a Temporary No Post at 49-66% time, do I have layoff or bumping rights when the position ends?

No. Employees hired with this type of appointment do not have the same rights as an employee on a Temporary Posted or Continuing Appointment. Such employees can be terminated at any time. Based on the percentage of the appointment, such an employee would have the following rights:

b. Does not accrue seniority
c. Does not have just cause rights
d. Does not have layoff rights
e. Does not receive health insurance

For employees at 50-74% time, all of the above applies except

e. You do not receive health insurance, BUT may self-pay

For employees at 75%-100% time all apply except

f. You do receive health insurance and
g. You do accrue vacation and sick leave
