TEMPORARY NO POST
1. If I am hired on a Temporary No Post at 49-66% time, do I have
layoff or bumping rights when the position ends?
No. Employees hired with this type of appointment do not have the same
rights as an employee on a Temporary Posted or Continuing Appointment.
Such employees can be terminated at any time. Based on the percentage
of the appointment, such an employee would have the following rights:
36%-49%
a. Does not serve probation
b. Does not accrue seniority
c. Does not have just cause rights
d. Does not have layoff rights
e. Does not receive health insurance
f. Does not accrue vacation or sick leave
g. Does not have bumping rights
For employees at 50-74% time, all of the above applies
except
e. You do not receive health insurance, BUT may self-pay
For employees at 75%-100% time all apply except
f. You do receive health insurance and
g. You do accrue vacation and sick leave
