Outstanding Service Award 2002
Continuous Service
Sharon Anderson
Sharon works as a nurse practitioner in Health Services. She's an excellent
performer, consistently providing the highest level of care to students. She
is deeply caring, relaxed, and non-judgmental. The Physicians recognize her
excellence by consulting with her, especially on women's health care issues,
that's a special area of expertise for Sharon.
She doesn't settle for just talking about change. She comes up with ideas to
make things happen. She is the first to say "what are you going to do about
this?"
When discussing changes in the new pharmacy and dispensary service in Health
Services, Sharon was instrumental in working out the system and getting a new
medications room organized. She also offered to share her room as a "quiet
room" for students when needed.
Sharon is a role model for sharing and collaboration.
For all these reasons and more, it gives me great pleasure to present Sharon
with this award for Continuous Service.
