Outstanding Service Award Recipient
It’s quite a stretch from human resources work to design professional, but Trish Sodahl brings a lot to the table – including the centerpiece, it seems.
Although her position primarily involves the complex human resources work at Natural Resources Research Institute, she utilizes her creative talents and formal training to design (and in some cases redesign) just about everything for NRRI: publications, brochures, literature, posters, logos, the new sign for the Coleraine Research Laboratory office building, artwork and more.
Even some unique table centerpieces were designed by Trish – one of which captured the fancy of a rather distinguished guest, and found its way home to Eastcliff with President and Mrs. Kaler.
While Trish manages to make time for that other-duties-as-volunteered design work, she also handles all HR aspects for a complex 180 person organization that increases by 50 or more employees during the summer months, most of whom don’t even work on campus.
Trish is truly a dedicated and enthusiastic professional and it is with real pleasure that I present this Outstanding Service Award to her.
