Outstanding Service Award Recipient
Sharon exceeds expectations at all times and is applauded by people as far away as Slovenia and Croatia. One of her co-workers at Labovitz School of Business & Economics said “She takes great initiative daily in her job, her follow-up is impeccable, and her welcoming personality brings comfort to any situation. It is apparent that her heart and commitment is to the school.”
Sharon played an integral role in launching the two-year minor in Financial Planning in the College. If the Dean was out of the office and timely decisions needed to be made, Sharon would go above and beyond to get information so the project could move forward. This program and the TD Ameritrade Learning Lab have been recognized nationally and are setting the standard for financial planning in education. When Sharon is setting up travel for her supervisor, she includes all the information he would ever want. She puts in information about hotels, flights, itineraries, per diem, and even information about the community and interesting places to check out. This not only takes the stress out of work travel, it also makes it more interesting.
For her demeanor, dedication, and impeccable work, I’m pleased to present Sharon with this Outstanding Service Award.
