Dr. Steven R. Kirkhorn

 

 

Steven R. Kirkhorn, M.D., M.P.H., received 
his medical degree from the University of 
Minnesota in 1977 and a Master's of Public 
Health in Environmental Health from the 
University of Minnesota School of Public 
Health in 1996. Presently he is Medical 
Director of Occupational Health Resources-
Mayo Health System in Mankato, MN and on 
the faculty of the University of Minnesota 
Rural Family Practice Residency.  

In 1997-1998, Dr. Kirkhorn received a Bush 
Medical Fellows award and spent a year 
sabbatical focusing upon agricultural 
medicine.  He is boarded in Family Practice 
and Occupational medicine and has a 
particular interest in rural occupational 
and environmental health issues.  He also 
serves as a consultant for the University 
of Iowa Center for Agricultural Safety and 
Health and the National Farm Medicine Center 
at Marshfield Clinic.
