It really is strange to look at those Renaissance paintings and see chubbier gals named Venus. Because I have grown up in the 80's and 90's it is hard for me to look at those paintings and say "She is beautiful" without hesitation. But then I think of the women I find most beautiful in real life and they usually are women who are voluptuos and plentiful in the curve department. Magazines make me sick. They are so full of bullshit nonsense that I wonder why I bother to read them. Perhaps I'm more caught up in it than I think I am. I think it's more like a fascination. It all seems so smutty and superficial that I can't keep my eyes off of those computer enhanced, fake boobed, over processed women. Why are we starving ourselves? I heard a co-violinist friend of mine say the other day "Yeah! I'm less than 100 pounds today!! I want to be the skinniest girl in the world!" The thing is, she looks like shit. She's not healthy. Well, I'm off on a tangent. But here's a website about JCREW models that is pretty funny.
