Campus Visit Programs include a presentation from an admission representative and a campus tour from a student tour guide. Tours are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and select Saturdays. In addition to your tour, you may also schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor. With at least two weeks notice, academic and campus partner appointments may be arranged. Appointments are subject to departmental availability.

Bulldog Fridays and Champ Saturdays have the added bonus of an Academic and Student Service Information Fair where you’ll have the chance to talk with representatives from campus departments and schools. By the end of the day, you’ll have all the tools you need to decide if you’re destined to be a Bulldog. Many people choose to make a weekend of it and stay to explore further what makes UMD and the city of Duluth so special.

Campus Preview is only offered over Minnesota's MEA break, Thursday, October 20th and Friday, October 21st. Families that visit campus during Campus Preview have the opportunity to create their own itinerary with available sessions such as, a General Campus Tour, Admissions Presentation, Academic & Student Service Information Fair, and lunch in the newly remodeled Superior Dining Center. Campus Preview is a large program so due to the volume of guests; we will not be able to accommodate individual requests from visitors. However, during the Information Fair, there will be representatives from admissions, campus partners, collegiate advisors, and faculty available to answer any specific questions. Finally, Campus Preview is a very popular program and we encourage visitors to register early.
