Campus Visit Programs include a presentation from an admission representative and a campus tour from a student tour guide. Tours are available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and select Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to your tour, you may also schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor. With at least two weeks notice, academic and campus partner appointments may be arranged. Appointments are subject to departmental availability.
MyGuide is a student-created visit program that puts the campus visit experience in your hands! This program provides you - the student - the opportunity to choose your tour guide and explore UMD in a more personalized way. The MyGuide experience can include an optional one-on-one meeting with an Admissions Counselor.
MyGuide campus tours are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Bulldog Fridays have the added bonus of an Academic and Student Service Information Fair where you’ll have the chance to talk with representatives from campus departments and schools. By the end of the day, you’ll have all the tools you need to decide if you’re destined to be a Bulldog. Many people choose to make a weekend of it and stay to explore further what makes UMD and the city of Duluth so special.
Bulldog Friday Dates:
- March 30, 2018 (full)
Bulldog Junior Day is tailored specifically for students who are juniors in high school. Come and experience a day dedicated to exploring UMD in a whole new way. The Junior Open House is an excellent way to learn more and see more when you visit UMD!

After selecting your visit day to UMD, you and your parent (if email provided) will receive a confirmation email with a parking pass, directions to campus, and itinerary of your visit.
If you are unable to print your parking pass, contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will mail you a parking permit. Please allow five-seven business days for our office to process this request. Campus visitors are directed to park in Gold Lot A with their assigned parking permit. Once parked, follow directional signage to your campus visit location.
* Due to the number of high schools on Spring Break, we have already reached our visit capacity for the week of March 26. We apologize for any inconvenience.
