KUMD will air three Alworth Institute International Lectures on select Monday evenings at 7:00 PM.
The schedule is:
November 11 - The Crises in the Middle East - Presented by Thomas Hanson, Alworth Diplomat in Residence and retired U.S. Foreign Service Officer (Lecture presented on October 29)
November 18 - The World We Will Live in 2025 - Presented by Dan Mullins, Manager of the Africa Coastal Program, CARE-WWF Alliance (Original lecture will be on November 5 in the UMD Library 4th Floor Rotunda)
December 23 - Global Warming and the Forests of the Lake Superior Region - Presented by Dr. John Pastor, Professor, UMD Biology Department (Original lecture will be on December 4 in UMD Montague Hall 80)
The Martha B. Alworth International Brown Bag Series
To honor Martha Alworth for her commitment to and enjoyment of this series, it will henceforth be called the Martha B. Alworth International Brown Bag Series.
