Geography is the science of place and space.
Geography is a distinctive discipline with a special place in the university. It encourages students to take a holistic view of the world and their place in it: it's about putting knowledge together, rather than taking it apart. It focuses on the relationships between people, their places and their environments, and the ways in which these can be made more sustainable for the future.
