Test 1 Information

Covers Sections 13.1-13.7 and 7.1-7.6.
Most problems will be similar to homework and quiz questions. 2 or 3 proof questions will be chosen from the 9 Required Proofs below. A sheet of formulas will be provided with the derivatives of the inverse trig functions, the hyperbolic functions, and the inverse hyperbolic functions, and the formulas for the scalar projection and the vector projection of one vector onto another. See the back page of the practice test - link below. You should know the formulas for both the algebraic and geometric versions of dot product and cross product, and distance between two points. Calculators are allowed (not TI-89's), but will not be necessary.
