Steps in Starting DreamWeaver in UMD Labs

1. Insert 3.5 floppy disk or flash drive

2. Open DreamWeaver

3. Under Files Tab select "Local View"

4. Under Local View select "Manage Sites"

5. In Manage Sites dialog box select "New"

6. Using the pull down menu select "Site"

7. In the Site Definition dialogue box select the "Advanced" tab

8. Type in the site name (e.g. IS3001)

9. Use the Browse button to select the site drive(a: or flash drive) and folder (is3001) for you local files

10. In the category window select Remote Info

11. Using the pull down menu select FTP

12. In the FTP host frame type "www.d.umn.edu"

13. In the Host Directory frame type "www" or "www/is3001"

14. Enter your UMD email user name and password

15. Check the Use Secure FTP connection box

16. Finally, click the "Test" button
