Engineering Day - Cardboard Boat Race

This is the first ever cardboard boat race. We held a competition on engineering day in October. The rules were to create a boat of cardboard and race to and around a bouy in Bagley Pond.

Our instructors gave a valient effort to upset the students. Their attempts were in vain; THE STUDENTS PREVAILED!

Formula SAE

The MIE Club is currently working on our first SAE indy car. When finished, this car will compete against others. Take a look at the pictures and watch the car evolve!

Clean Snowmobile Challenge

The initiative of the project is possible by support from the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to modify an existing production snowmobile that will further the sport and create new technologies by improved emissions and noise while maintaining or improving the performance of the original snowmobile. Engineering students must make modifications that are still cost-effective. We invite you to talk a look around and see what's going on with the project.
